Job Description
Are you a seasoned Civil Engineer with a passion for delivering impactful public infrastructure projects Our client a leading firm in the civil engineering sector is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage key civil engineering projects with a strong focus on labour-based construction and municipal infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 7)
15 years experience in the design site supervision and contract documentation of various civil infrastructure projects
Professional Registration ( or ) with ECSA is essential
3 years experience managing Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) or similar community-based projects
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
Solid knowledge of municipal civil engineering infrastructure design (roads stormwater water sanitation)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design teams on municipal infrastructure projects
Oversee site supervision and ensure project compliance with applicable standards
Prepare and review contract documentation
Manage community-based labour-intensive projects in line with EPWP guidelines
Ensure technical quality time and budget adherence across project phases
