Youll be joining a high-performing team thats seen significant growth over the past few years building strong momentum with key brokers across the UK. As we enter an exciting new phase were looking for someone like you an experienced Property Underwriter who thrives in a fast-paced ever evolving environment and is ready to make a real impact.

This is more than just underwriting. Youll be at the heart of our UK & Multinational lead proposition rollout helping shape the way we do business. Youll work closely with brokers in London and across the regions manage a diverse portfolio of accounts and collaborate across lines of business to drive growth. What youll be doing:

• Underwriting and servicing Open Market Property accounts both new and renewal (expect around 100 accounts per year).
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients across the UK Retail Property market.
• Leading and following on UK & Multinational business with Wholesale Property experience as a bonus.
• Supporting junior underwriters and contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Preparing quotes proposals and binding coverage within your authority.
• Collaborating with other departments like Claims Loss Control and Accounting to ensure seamless service.
• Sharing market insights and competitor intelligence to help shape strategy.
• Playing a key role in the development of our lead multinational proposition.

What youll bring:

• Solid experience in Property Underwriting within the UK and/or international markets.
• A strong broker network and the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Confidence in client pitches cross-selling and pipelining opportunities.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to spot trends and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills including with senior stakeholders.
• A collaborative spirit youre someone who supports others and contributes to team success.
• A detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and technical skills.
• Comfort with change and a desire to be part of something growing and dynamic.
