Job Description
- Develop implement and maintain configuration management processes standards and policies.
- Establish and maintain a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Proactively update documentation related to configuration changes.
- Review and process engineering change requests deviations and approvals.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure correct documentation and alignment across systems.
- Conduct regular internal audits to verify accuracy and completeness of the database.
- Provide support and guidance to project teams on configuration management practices and tools.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering computer science or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in the field of rail vehicle defense or aerospace configurationmanagement
- Strong knowledge of configuration management tools and methodologies (e.g. Jira Doors etc.)
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
- Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy
- Structured goal-oriented dynamic and loyal personality
- Excellent communication writing and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong teamworking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with standards and frameworks (i.e. ISO 9001 etc.) is a huge plus!
