As a Senior Electrical Engineer on our Yorkshire Water framework you will contribute to projects that significantly impact our environment and communities. Working primarily in the UK water market MMB provides the feasibility design construction and commissioning services needed to keep water flowing and wastewater treated. Youll work on projects that make a real difference to our environment and our communities by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of water and wastewater treatment systems.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the electrical functions throughout the lifecycle of various projects. From concept design to commissioning you will ensure that all electrical aspects are meticulously considered and integrated.
The role of a Senior Electrical Engineer includes:
- Preparing and reviewing electrical engineering designs for water treatment equipment on our clients site. You will be working with Motor Control Centres LV distribution systems Cabling Instrumentation Industrial Networks PLCs and SCADA. Systems will be both new latest technology and existing legacy installations.
- Producing and reviewing technical specifications and schedules for procurement activities reviewing supplier tender bids and technical submissions.
- Supervising and mentoring our Graduates and Engineers assisting them to develop their knowledge and skills.
- Understanding applying and contributing to design standards with a good knowledge of Client and WIMES standards.
- Positively engaging with the client building relationships and supporting them to achieve their aims.
What youll need:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Chartered or incorporated member of professional institution e.g ICE IMechE etc or equivalent experience
- Experience of successfully delivering high quality outputs in accordance with design quality and safety standards
- Water industry experience
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region
