You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailStructural Engineer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Bellevue WA):Perform structural evaluation and analysis of hydraulic structures using finite element analysis software and engineering tools. Perform site visits of structural systems to evaluate and inspect work in progress and completed projects for compliance with specifications and applicable codes. Prepare calculations studies design criteria design reports plans and specifications and other contract documents for engineering projects. Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff. Work directly with other engineering disciplines and project staff throughout the project life cycle.40 hours per week M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $131373 - $180800 per year. Individuals in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus.The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education qualifications experience & work location. #LI-DNI #GTM
Requirements:
Must have a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field and 15 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience must have 10 years of experience with the following: Finite element analysis software including SAP2000 ANSYS and STADD; Design and analysis of locks dams flood protection facilities and hydraulic structures; and Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software including AutoCAD Revit Inventor or MicroStation.
Of the required experience must have 3 years of experience with the following: Applying USACE USBR and UFC criteria to design of new structures and evaluation of existing structures.
Must have an active U.S. Professional Engineer License.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
