AFC Manager
The Athletic and Fitness Center is looking for an individual with exceptional leadership qualities; must be highly organized possess positive interpersonal skills. This position includes but is not limited to patrolling the building creating staff schedule managing student staff working in collaboration with the graduate assistants. Dress code/uniform will be required for this position. CPR/AED and Lifeguard Certification must be valid and other duties as assigned by the supervisor for this position.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Attention to detail is imperative.
Supervising the AFC control desk attendants lifeguards etc.
Develop the semester hourly schedule for student employees.
Develop an ongoing customer service program.
Lead student employee and staff meetings.
Assist AFC professional staff with departmental programs.
Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor of this position.
Student staff must participate in online and in person training sessions provided by the Career Development Office. The position is in-person and hours vary weekly depending on availability in relation to business hours. Nights and weekends are required. You will be asked to meet in person at least once per semester. There is a dress code/uniform that will be required for this position.
