You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailFarmers Market- The City of Torrance Community Services Department is accepting applications for Program Leader to assist in its Certified Farmers Markets on Tuesdays and designated weekdays. These Farmers Markets are well-attended fast-paced and features seasonal produce and local food from a total of 215 farmers and vendors twice a week.
Education and Experience
Any combination of education and experience that would have provided the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills would be:
Six months of recent paid or volunteer part-time work experience directly related to recreation or community programs and services involving public contact is desirable.
License and/or Certificates
This is an internal selection process. Interested applicants must submit an online application available at Application submissions will be accepted on an open continuous bases. The first review of applications will be those received by August 28 2025.
Only those candidates whose experience best meet the needs of the City and the Department will be invited to participate in an oral interview.
