Job Description
We are hiring anApplication Engineer 3 (API or Data Management)to work in Linthicum Heights MD. This position offers a hybrid/remote schedule. Position location is subject to change based on central MD clients needs.
Required:TS/SCI with a Polygraph
We are seeking Application Engineers to support multiple teams below are requirements for each team:
- API:Our REST team provides middleware and backend support to all of our applications
- Required skills:
- Python
- Experience using Django or Flask
- Database experience using MongoDB or MariaDB
- ReST endpoint development
- Micro service model
- Desired skills:
- Swagger
- AWS C2S or other cloud experience
- Docker
- Visual Studio code or similar IDEs
- JSON and/or XML serialization
- Jira
- Confluence
- Git version control
- Agile
- Required skills:
- Data Management:The analytics team focuses on delivering reliable accurate data to our end users
- Required skills:
- Strong background in analytics development
- Pig
- PySpark
- Piranhas
- Desired skills:
- NiFi
- Patch management and IAVA tracking
- Python
- Java
- Scala
- Ansible
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Required skills:
- All experience and education will be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed and all diplomas GED certificates and degrees will be from accredited institutions. Ten (10) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Eight (8) years minimum experience and an Associates Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Bachelors Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Masters Degree. Two (2) years minimum experience and a Doctorates Degree.
