Job Description
Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Digital Content Producer is responsible for developing and publishing content for the organizations multiple websites digital platforms (B2C B2B and International websites apps mobile web sales mat) and partnership with marketing creative and technology stakeholders this role will manage daily content updates through the content management systems.
Will work closely with the technical team to maintain digital standards and security protocols with regards to publishing and new development. Acts as subject matter experts and take an active role in the training of temporary resources and new team members
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build edit and publish content for websites other digital platforms and emails using the content management systems; maintain accurate information at all times. Ensure SEO and web analytics tagging is implemented appropriately. Responsible for efforts of all sizes.
- Proofread and edit digital content to ensure accuracy. Unpublish outdated and/or incorrect content.
- Collaborate with Marketing UI/UX and Creative teams to ensure content is built in alignment with the capabilities of the current digital design system. Testing out concepts when needed and providing timely feedback on feasibility and/or technical needs to make the content work as desired or offer best practice alternatives.
- Identify new opportunities to optimize the content maintenance and deployment processes. Participate in discussions planning and onboarding of new digital products to be managed by the team.
- Liaison with technical team to ensure publishing and security standards are adhered to; follow system protocols. Support technology deployments that require publishing of content (publishing and testing the content).
- Act as a mentor to new team additions and as a leader and supervisor of interns and/or temporary resources providing guidance coaching and professional development.
- Stay abreast of technological advances in digital content publishing and seek to apply best practices. Participate in the training and continued learning of the team. Proactively share knowledge and continuously improve engineering practices. Act as a SME and super user for the teams Work Management tool.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in field related to digital production marketing communications journalism and web design is required.
EXPERIENCE:
4 years work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The Senior Digital Content Producer is responsible for working with internal cross-channel departments to facilitate web and mobile content publication. The volume and variation of work requires flexibility and management of a sizeable amount of requests both daily and on special occasions. This position is responsible for working within several Content Management Systems and other programs used to manage requests. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure optimal maintenance of existing digital properties as well as other new web sites and mobile applications.
