Job Summary
GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJs relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand clients needs attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
We have partnered with a well-established company seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team!
Support general accounting functions including receivables reconciliations and accounts receivable/payable.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Post and reconcile payments; handle billing collections and escalate potential bad debts.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and record journal entries with appropriate documentation.
Maintain organized documentation for all accounting transactions.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the corporation.
Support the development and organization of documentation required for the annual external audit.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (REQUIRED)
$60000 - $70000 a year
