What Youll Do
As a Dietary Aide you will:
Prepare assemble and deliver meals according to dietitian-approved plans and resident-specific needs (e.g. diabetic lowsodium texture-modified diets)
Assist with meal service setup and cleanup in dining areas or resident rooms
Maintain kitchen safety and sanitationclean surfaces dishes trays and equipment per health code standards
Support inventory tracking and stock rotation in collaboration with dietary staff
Report meal-related concerns (e.g. refusals temperature inconsistencies) to supervisors or nursing staff promptly
Who Were Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Food Handlers Permit (mandatory) ServSafe Certification (preferred)
Dependable team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow dietary instructions accurately
Friendly and compassionate demeanor especially when assisting elderly residents
Ability to handle physical taskslifting bending tray deliveryin a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Haves:
Previous food-service experience in long-term care rehabilitation or hospital settings
