The opportunity
Join us at Hitachi Energy as a Control & Protection Software Design Engineer and be part of a team dedicated to revolutionizing energy transmission with HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology.
Please note this position if of a hybrid nature (3 days working out of our central Glasgow office).

How youll make an impact
- Design maintain test integrate verify and deploy HVDC control & protection application functions.
- Document processes and conduct customer training.
- Travel internationally for assignments.
Your background
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant technical area.
- Experience with HVDC projects and control system design/testing.
- Strong interest in industrial application development and programming.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
- Experience in digital technology signal processing control system design and power system industry.
