Job Description
Family Medicine Physician - Permanent Position in Saratoga Springs NY
Join a patient-centered outpatient practice in beautiful Saratoga Springs New York. We are seeking a full-time Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to become part of a supportive team that values flexible scheduling and rewarding work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages
- Collaborate with a dynamic physician-led care team
- Maintain a 40-hour work week with 34 hours of direct patient contact
- Participate in a light on-call schedule with phone-only coverage and RN triage
- Perform telemedicine consultations on designated weekends
- Engage in teaching opportunities with medical and NP/PA students
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation and records
- See an average of 1824 patients per day
- Explore optional opportunities in hospital medicine or administrative roles
- Ensure compliance with all required certifications and licensure
- NOT OPEN to candidates with lapsed Board Certification.
- Not seeking 1099 visa sponsorship or long-distance commuting arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or eligibility (within 5 years) - REQUIRED
- Active New York State Medical License or willingness to obtain - REQUIRED
- DEA and ACLS certifications by start date - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice and licensing history - REQUIRED NO EXEMPTIONS
- Passion for providing primary care across all age groups - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active New York State Medical License
- DEA Certification
- ACLS Certification
