Summary:
The Director of Enterprise Document Management is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning implementation and management of document management systems across the organization with a specific focus on the Hyland OnBase and DocuSign platforms. This role ensures the efficient handling storage and retrieval of documents while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing operational efficiency in alignment with business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic IT Leadership:Provide strategic direction for the IT department ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with organizational goals. Oversee multiple teams and projects develop and implement IT policies and procedures foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement engage with senior leadership to communicate IT strategy and progress ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive business development and client relationship management.
Strategic Planning:Develop and implement the enterprise document management strategy aligning with organizational goals and objectives leveraging both Hyland OnBase and DocuSign capabilities.
System Management:Oversee the selection implementation and maintenance of the Hyland OnBase and DocuSign document management systems and related technologies.
Compliance:Ensure document management practices comply with legal regulatory and organizational standards.
Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance document handling and workflow efficiency using OnBases automation and case management features and DocuSigns Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) capabilities.
Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of document management professionals providing guidance and support.
Collaboration:Work closely with clients to ensure the Hyland OnBase and DocuSign systems meet their needs and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
Vendor Relations:Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors ensuring effective communication and collaboration to optimize the use of Hyland OnBase and DocuSign platforms.
Agile Methodologies:Implement and promote agile methodologies within the document management team to enhance flexibility responsiveness and continuous improvement in document management processes.
Skills:
Expertise inHyland OnBaseandDocuSignplatforms including configuration solution architecture workflow automation and integration.
Strong understanding ofdocument lifecycle management metadata retention and archiving.
Knowledge of data extraction technologies.
Strategic planning and execution aligned withenterprise IT and business goals.
Proficiency inprocess improvement automation and workflow optimization.
Experience withagile methodologiesand change management.
Strongleadership and team developmentcapabilities.
Excellentcommunication and collaborationskills across technical and business teams.
Ability toanalyze dataand KPIs to drive decisions and measure success.
Adaptability to evolving technologies and organizational needs.

Education & Experience Requirements:
Experience:
10 years of progressive experience in IT or document management
Proven experience of solution architecture technical architecture and development with Hyland OnBase and DocuSign platforms
Experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise-scale implementations

Preferred: Experience working in Higher Ed
Certifications:
Hyland OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA)
Hyland OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA)
