Job Description
CCFBank is currently searching for a Credit Analyst Intern to join our team! During this internship you will learn how to gather and analyze credit information on current and potential borrowers; determine the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assist loan officers in writing loan requests; promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
The ideal candidate is a collaborator who works well in a team environment and can communicate with colleagues from various departments. Bonus if youre community focused and excited about making a positive difference for those around you.
This internship is onsite in Eau Claire WI from September 2025 - May 2026.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
- Gather data from customers internal and outside sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; obtains additional information and clarification of data.
- Comply data from credit bureaus conducts industry peer comparisons and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
- Obtain sufficient information and/or documentation from customers.
- Verifie collateral and lien position
- Develop knowledge of financial industry economy market conditions rates vendors and competition.
- Communicate with Ag/Commercial Bankers when working credits spreads and ticklers
- Assure compliance with all Bank policies procedures and processes and all applicable state and federal banking laws rules and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
- Perform site visits and or customer meetings with banker with current customer
Education and Experience
- Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field.
- Must possess a minimum or 3.0 (out of a 4 point scale) overall GPA.
- Junior or Senior classification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong analytical quantitative and problem solving skills required.
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
