Job Description

Job Title: Locum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Join a reputable practice in Indiana dedicated to serving our nations veterans through comprehensive General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury assessments. Our facilities are strategically located to ensure ease of access for both physicians and patients. We are seeking qualified physicians to provide essential care and perform evaluations as part of our commitment to high-quality healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams.
  • Perform evaluations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments.
  • Utilize Goniometer and conduct range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
  • Submit Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of completion.
  • Participate in administrative duties including record reviews and follow-up tasks.
  • Provide certifications and assessments without the need for prescribing or treatment.
  • Collaborate with schedulers to assign first cases and attend required training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Neurology Neurosurgery or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
  • Own a personal laptop (Windows-based; no Mac products).
  • Current CV with home address and necessary licensing information.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Indiana.
  • Board Certification in relevant specialties.
  • Copy of ECFMG certificate required if graduated from an international medical school.
