Job Description
Locum Physician - Gastroenterology - Petoskey MI
Join a healthcare leader in northern Michigan! We are looking for an experienced Gastroenterologist to provide locum coverage in a welcoming clinic setting located in the picturesque city of Petoskey. Embrace a Monday through Friday schedule with no night or weekend calls. Enjoy working with an excellent support staff including 2 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers while providing care in a facility equipped with an onsite lab and X-ray services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ERCP procedures (required)
- Conduct approximately 18 outpatient visits and 20 inpatient scopes daily
- Provide endoscopy coverage and consults during the hours of 7am - 4:30pm
- Utilize Cerner EMR effectively
- Collaborate with a dedicated team onsite for comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Active Michigan medical license and CSR at the time of submission
- 2-3 years of prior experience post fellowship
- Clean background with no disciplinary actions (minimum malpractice acceptable)
- COVID vaccine documentation required
- Local candidates preferred for convenient travel
License and Certification Requirements:

- ACLS certification (required)
- Active Michigan License (required)
- DEA confirmation (required)
- ERCP skills (required)
