Mental Health Support Coordinator Armidale
Full-time Permanent $28$36 p/h Entry Level
HealthWISE is seeking a motivated Mental Health Support Coordinator to join our Armidale team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing suicide aftercare and supporting people in their recovery journey.
You will provide non-clinical community-based support to people who have attempted suicide helping them stay safe build resilience and connect with essential services. Working closely with clinicians GPs and community agencies youll play a vital role in improving mental health outcomes across the region.
About the Role:
- Provide outreach and follow-up suicide aftercare support
- Assist clients with Safety and Support Plans
- Strengthen recovery through social connectedness
- Collaborate with mental health clinicians GPs and services
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to program goals
About You:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Organised resilient and able to manage competing priorities
- Drivers licence WWCC and National Police Check required
- Lived experience of recovery (desirable)
