St. Francis Xavier Elementaryis a thriving Catholic double-streamed elementary school located in Vancouver close to downtown and transit.

In addition to the curriculum stipulated by the British Columbia Ministry of Education we have a unique component in our program Chinese as a subject. JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Francis Xavier Elementary is looking for a short-term full-time education Assistant to cover for a medical leave from September 2 to December 19 2025 with a possibility of extending into 2026.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and the Learning Support Team to support students with varying exceptional needs in a variety of settings. Flexibility with changes in assignments (e.g. students to support and classroom change) is expected. Preference is given to individuals who have EA certification along with experience in working with students with autism. The candidate is expected to assist in extra-curricular activities and supervision duties.
