Job Description

Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Join our dedicated team in Arizona where youll contribute significantly to veterans health. As a locum physician youll carry out essential General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams in a supportive and rewarding environment. Our facilities strive to provide exceptional care to those who have served our country offering flexible work arrangements tailored to your schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments for veterans.
  • Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
  • Evaluate and diagnose conditions related to traumatic brain injuries and general medicine.
  • Complete standardized reporting forms within 48 hours of each exam.
  • Participate in record reviews and follow-up administrative tasks as needed.
  • Utilize a personal laptop (no Apple products) for documentation and reporting tasks.
  • Work PRN with options for half-day or full-day shifts based on availability.
  • Engage in training to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Neurology Neurosurgery PM&R or related specialty.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Arizona.
  • Proficient in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
  • Familiarity with musculoskeletal evaluations and diabetes management.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Must possess an active Arizona medical license.
  • Board Certification is required.
  • Must complete DMA training to become certified.
