Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine
Join our dedicated team in Arizona where youll contribute significantly to veterans health. As a locum physician youll carry out essential General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams in a supportive and rewarding environment. Our facilities strive to provide exceptional care to those who have served our country offering flexible work arrangements tailored to your schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments for veterans.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Evaluate and diagnose conditions related to traumatic brain injuries and general medicine.
- Complete standardized reporting forms within 48 hours of each exam.
- Participate in record reviews and follow-up administrative tasks as needed.
- Utilize a personal laptop (no Apple products) for documentation and reporting tasks.
- Work PRN with options for half-day or full-day shifts based on availability.
- Engage in training to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology Neurosurgery PM&R or related specialty.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Arizona.
- Proficient in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
- Familiarity with musculoskeletal evaluations and diabetes management.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess an active Arizona medical license.
- Board Certification is required.
- Must complete DMA training to become certified.
