Full-Time OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Clinton IA
Join an established and expanding practice in the heart of Clinton Iowa! This facility is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to complement their team. As a Level 4 trauma center you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment while serving a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Family Medicine/OB group.
- Work Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with shared call responsibilities.
- Manage clinic duties operating room procedures and OB call.
- Participate in weekend and on-call rotations at a 1:4 ratio.
- Engage in inpatient and outpatient care including rounds and multi-clinic travel.
- Utilize Cerner Inpatient and eClinicalWorks Outpatient documentation systems.
- Actively support the facilitys initiatives to grow the OB service line.
- Care for variable patient volumes based on provider schedule.
- Assist in onboarding providers who can start ASAP.
- Adhere to high standards of medical practice with a clean malpractice record.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 3 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Preferred to have a clean malpractice history.
- Providers who can start as soon as possible are highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Iowa medical license (or willing to obtain).
- Board certification in OB/GYN or board eligibility within the right timeframe.
- NRP certification and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
