Join Our Team as an OB/GYN in Clinton Iowa!

MercyOne Clinton is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time OB/GYN provider to join a dynamic and growing team! This position is perfect for a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN who wants to be part of a busy practice located in the scenic Clinton Iowa. Experience an enriching career in a facility designated as Level 4 Trauma supporting diverse healthcare needs within the community.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the FM/OB group.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with shared call.
Provide care across multiple settings including clinic operating room and hospital.
Participate in weekend call rotation: 1:4.
Involvement in inpatient outpatient rounds and travel to various locations/clinics.
Support the growth of a service line within the facility.
Manage an average number of patients per day as per provider capacity.

Qualifications:

Board Eligible (within 3 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain.
Certification in NRP and AWOHN Fetal Monitoring (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Clean malpractice history; providers with ongoing malpractice cases cannot be accepted.
Ability to start as soon as possible is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
Iowa medical license (or willingness to obtain).
NRP certification.
AWOHN certification.
