Join Our Hematology Oncology Team in Clinton Iowa
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join a well-established practice in Clinton Iowa. This state-of-the-art facility is connected to MercyOne Clinton Hospital offering a supportive and collaborative environment. The practice currently sees an average of 30 patients daily focusing on both adult and geriatric populations and is poised for strategic growth as we work towards achieving COC (Commission on Cancer) Accreditation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary coverage at MercyOne in Clinton with potential rotation to Genesis Health System in Davenport IA.
- Split time between Hematology (30%) and Medical Oncology (70%).
- Manage minimal after-hours calls via phone only.
- Provide quality patient care with new patient visits allocated 30 minutes and follow-ups 15 minutes.
- Collaborate with a supportive team including four RNs MA CNA and a receptionist.
- Utilize available hospitalists to cover infusions when necessary.
- Benefit from a strong primary care network for a steady stream of internal referrals.
- Work in a professionally managed facility with full ancillary services.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology.
- Valid Iowa license (or willingness to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology.
- Permanent Iowa license required.
