Job Description
Job Opportunity: Orthopedic Surgeon
Join Our Team in Sullivan Missouri!
We are seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to be part of a high-demand multi-specialty clinic situated in a state-of-the-art facility in Sullivan Missourijust an hours drive from St. Louis. This community boasts a strong referral base and a robust support system making it an ideal place for your medical practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Join a well-established multi-specialty clinic on the hospital campus
- Collaborate with current orthopedic surgeons and primary care providers
- Provide high-quality orthopedic care with autonomy
- Conduct patient consultations surgeries and follow-up appointments
- Perform inpatient hospital care or work with hospitalist teams for coverage
- Participate in a flexible call rotation and weekend coverage
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and management
- Work with a supportive CRNA team and on-campus specialty services
- Engage in teaching and collaboration with APPs and clinic staff
- Practice in a high HPSA score area eligible for J1 visa sponsorship
- Operate in modern facilities with advanced ORs and a range of medical services
- Manage patient care and collaborate with families and care team members
- Document patient histories and examinations in compliance with hospital guidelines
- Adhere to all professional standards and BJC policies
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- Open to J1 visa candidates only
- Not open to 1099 candidates
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Missouri License (or willing to obtain)
- 2 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery (2-5 years preferred)
- DEA required prior to start
- CSR/CDS required prior to start
- J1 visa support eligibility
- Clean malpractice and license history preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified

- Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS)
- DEA Certification
