Job Summary
Job Opening: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology
Join our dedicated team at a comprehensive facility in Statesville NC providing top-tier healthcare services. This role offers an onsite hospital setting wherein youll utilize advanced technology to manage a diverse case mix focusing on interventional radiology procedures. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values patient care and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct light interventional radiology procedures including biopsies drainages and lumbar punctures.
- Utilize various modalities such as XR MR NM CT US and Fluoroscopy to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Manage a case mix involving emergency musculoskeletal neuro nuclear medicine and mammography diagnostics.
- Engage in a high volume of patient interactions averaging 90-100 cases and 60-70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment planning.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Radiology Interventional.
- Active North Carolina Medical License.
- Current DEA Registration.
License and Certification Requirements:
