Job Description
Job Title: Locum - Physician - OB/GYN
Join a dedicated healthcare team at a local facility in Tiffin Ohio! We are seeking 1-2 locum OB/GYN physicians to provide on-call coverage for our growing practice. This opportunity allows you to work in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
The hospital features:
- Location: Hospital ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery call
- Total Beds: 10 LDRP 3 Postpartum & 1 Triage
- Team: 2 Physicians and 5 CNMs
- Case Mix: 40%-50% Gynecology performing 1-4 Gyn surgeries daily
- C-sections: 15%-35% of cases
- Average Nursery Admissions: 2-5 per day
- Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive on-call coverage for OB/GYN patients
- Perform C-sections and other OB/GYN related surgeries
- Attend to Labor & Delivery as needed
- Manage gynecological surgeries and procedures
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
- Ensure accurate documentation using the EPIC system
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active Ohio medical license (may consider IMLC if available for the listed dates)
- Current NRP and ACLS certifications
- COVID and flu vaccinations preferred; flu vaccine required at time of credentialing
- Availability for the specified dates is essential
License and Certification Requirements:
- Ohio Medical License (Required)
- Board Certification in OB/GYN (Required)
- NRP Certification (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
