Job Description
Gulf Coast News in Fort Myers Florida has an opening for an experiencedAudience Insights and Analytics Director. As Audience Insights and Analytics Director you will analyze all impressions and research information to design compelling presentations for our sellers and outside promotion. This is a great opportunity to join one of the broadcast industrys most respected companies Hearst Television. You will be proficient in Nielsen software Marshall Marketing and Wide Orbit Media Sales. Audience Insights and Analytics Directors will be engaged in providing relevant research and strategic guidance to the stations news programming and creative services departments while being analytical creative and proactive. You will report to the Sales Director.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling presentations that promote the marketing power of all of the stations media platforms
- Play a necessary role in the advertising sales department and work with station management on projects and marketing plans
- You will participate in sales promotional and news activities including presentations to clients station management and at full station staff meetings
- Command of multiple software applications using Nielsen research and other qualitative data
Requirements
- Prior advertising marketing or broadcast experience
- A background in consumer or media research and related software applications is required
- Proficiency in Nielsen software Wide Orbit Media Sales Marshall Marketing Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint
- Must be analytical creative and have desktop publishing expertise
- Must be curious and passionate about consumer and media habits with a focus on positioning research data in the most positive manner
- Equivalent military experience will be considered
