Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn a single-configuration heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit geostationary transfer orbit cislunar and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

As part of a hardworking passionate and accomplished team of experts you will participate in the development of space launch vehicles. As an administrative assistant for New Glenn you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Department administration for the NG launch system architecture and NG SEIT teams located in ClarkePoint East 5th floor and Clarkepoint West 2nd floor in Kent WA
  • Leadership and team support - Work closely and effectively with LSA and SEIT leadership to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities following up appropriately. Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
  • Calendar - Manage an active calendar of meetings reviews and appointments. Plan coordinate and ensure the schedule is followed and respected.
  • Travel - Arrange complex and detailed travel plans itineraries and agendas.
  • Team meetings and events - plan and execute all hands meetings team events holiday parties
  • Personnel Using strong interpersonal skills build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving - Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Work collaboratively with admin peers be a resource and a team player.
  • Candidates must uphold the highest level of integrity and business professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel Power Point SharePoint Teams)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills interpersonal skills and high customer service capabilities and delivery
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Emotional maturity; positive low-stress behavior in words and actions
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion


Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $32.86-$46.01

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding) Road Test Hours of Service Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only) vehicle inspection requirements CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
