What youll do at Jamf:
Jamf Now is a mobile device management (MDM) solution designed specifically for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and organizations.
It allows administrators to manage and secure their Apple devices such as iPhones iPads tvOS and Macs from a centralized Jamf Now administrators can enforce security policies deploy apps configure settings and remotely manage devices making it easier to maintain device compliance and security across an organizations fleet of Apple devices. Jamf Now is mostly built upon a microservices architecture where individual components are developed and deployed as independent services.
There is also monolith and UI part. The technology stack: Java 21 Angular 21 Spring Boot 3 Spock Github Kafka AWS MongoDB and PostgeSQL Jenkins Docker Kubernetes ArgoCD and Now consists of 1 development team and devops team working in SAFEe using Kanban.
We are currently looking for Java Software Engineer II. Team is responsible mainly for maintaining the core functionalities and integrating with Jamfs newest technical solutions.

- Break down customer problems into work you and the team can execute on.
- Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with high quality.
- Use your knowledge of product to mentor others.
- Use your knowledge of Engineering best practices to ask the right questions solve problems and build great software.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication Support Product and Cloud).
- When you dont know the solution seek out the appropriate people in the organization for advice.
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values mission and purpose of the organization.
- Adhere to the highest moral ethical and legal standards to deliver an environment that promotes respect innovation and creativity.
- Support and promote a positive inclusive workplace one in which the talents and strengths of our increasingly diverse workforce are welcomed further developed and manifested in our work.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Java application development.
- Experience and knowledge of: Spring Framework SQL AWS Git Kubernetes.
- Experience with and/or knowledge of Java web application performance.
- Experience with Angular (preferred).
- Strong understanding of testing and quality assurance processes.
- An interest in working with the Apple Mac OS X and iOS platforms.
- Strong communication analytical and listening skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results-driven culture.
- Strong written and oral English language.
