We are seeking energetic team leaders for our Y-Kids Program. Y-Kids is a structured before and after school program that offers a great start and finish to every school day. Sr. Site Supervisors support and develop Site Directors as they facilitate education and recreation opportunities fun physical activities healthy snacks and positive reinforcement. With a strong focus on STEM we encourage innovation critical thinking problem-solving skills and creativity in all our kids.
POSITION SUMMARY:
These general functions will be carried out in keeping with the Goals and Mission of the YMCA of the East Bay. The Senior Site Supervisor will assist in leading the licensed school age programs to ensure that licensing standards are met functions are coordinated and daily operations run smoothly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the design and delivery of high-quality programming that achieves the educational administrative and service delivery goals.
- Assist in supervising staffing and overseeing program sites; May provide direct staffing when required based on staffing ratios.
- Assist in data collection to ensure outcomes reports are provided as required and compliance with state/federal and local regulations are met.
- Collaborate internally with other leaders/departments to effectively share resources and best practices and work together as a unified team.
- Stay current on national developments in education inclusion coaching and mental health by attending conferences workshops/seminars meetings.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sufficient strength agility and mobility to perform essential functions and to supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations
- Must be able to work on a computer for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to travel locally for meetings training and special events

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education Human Services or closely related field of study preferred
- Two years progressively responsible professional experience which demonstrates supervisory and administrative responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a highly matrixed team environment to achieve results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations
- Proven track record of developing authentic and deepened relationships with others
- Ability to establish maintain and expand collaborations with community organizations
- Criminal record clearance and health requirements including health screening TB and immunizations
- Thorough knowledge of licensing standards and school age care regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and other computer programs
