Responsibilities
Syntelligent is seeking an Underwater Acoustics SME to support Government Customer
Location: DARPA / 675 N Randolph St Arlington VA 22203
Shift: Day
Anticipated Salary Range: $75 - $90 Per Hour
Status: Part-Time
Opening Type: Contingent Upon Proposal Award
Duties will include:
- Level of Effort: 25% for duration of program (up to 12 months)
Qualifications
Required:
- Understanding of acoustic propagation
- Acoustic receiver and array design impact on performance
- Signal Processing to include filtering beamforming and time and frequency difference of arrival
- Development of track from acoustic detection data with expected errors
- Modeling and Simulation experience with Matlab and/or acoustic modeling tool suites
- Clearance:Secret with ability to be cleared to higher levels
- Education: BS in Engineering or Scientific discipline at a minimum
- Experience:Ten (10) years of experience in research and development (R&D) engineering programs such as: Technology Analysis and Assessment DesignDefinition Development of Systems Specification Systems Analysis Systems Architecture Systems/Equipment Integration Test & EvaluationCriteria and Logistics support of Department of Defense (DoD) programs requirements.

- Demonstrated ability of make decisions independently on researchand development (R&D) engineering problems and methods and of resolve important questions and of plan and coordinate work

Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.
