Metzgers is looking for a skilled and customer-focusedE-Commerce Developerto join our this role youll be responsible for building and maintaining custom storefronts supporting clients and collaborating with internal teams to grow our eStore solutions. If you enjoy working with design data and digital platforms this is a great opportunity to make an impact.Responsibilities
- Maintain and update existing eStore solutions based on client and internal requests.
- Develop new templates using Pageflex Studio and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Troubleshoot storefront issues (e.g. variable data errors preview generation).
- Manage user accounts (setup removal password resets).
- Build new storefronts for incoming clients including template creation and site development.
- Serve as a primary contact for customer support related to storefront usage.
- Create demo storefronts to showcase capabilities and support sales efforts.
- Develop documentation and processes to improve eStore development workflows.
- Bachelors degree in design marketing computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of ifthen logic for variable data printing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop Acrobat).
- Experience with HTML CSS JQuery and Pageflex Studio.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and/or VBScript required.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Understanding the printing process is beneficial.
- Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
- Effective collaborator across teams and departments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities.
- Organized and efficient with process management.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented.
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
