Department of Biological Sciences
St. Edwards University a nationally ranked independent Catholic university and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) invites applications for an adjunct position in the Department of Biological Sciences beginning January 2026. St. Edwards is characterized by its commitment to the Holy Cross educational mission of educating the hearts and minds of a diverse student body deeply committed to social justice. Candidates should have an interest in and the ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses as well as support a diverse student body.
The successful candidate will have a background in microbiology and an interest in teaching undergraduate courses to Nursing majors. There are no formal academic advising or university service responsibilities associated with this position but opportunities to become involved in the Department the School of Natural Sciences and the University will be available.
QUALIFICATIONS
For consideration candidates must possess a masters degree or a minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology or a related field. A PhD in Microbiology or a related field is preferred.
