Job Description
Location : Dearborn MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Experience: 8 Years
What Youll Do:
- Administer and support IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments (dev test stage production) - installs upgrades patching and configuration.
- Manage and maintain OpenShift clusters for data services and pipelines (deployments scaling operators troubleshooting).
- Implement and operate Apache NiFi flows and clusters.
- Automate deployments backups and monitoring using Bash Python or similar scripting tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for DataStage NiFi and containerized services using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Monitor platform health optimize performance and plan for capacity and disaster recovery.
- Apply security best practices including RBAC secrets management patching and audit logging.
- Troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis and create clear operational documentation.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate across teams to deliver integration solutions.
- 5 years of production systems administration or platform support experience.
- 3 years managing IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting expertise in Bash and Python (or Perl).
- Good understanding of security practices and automation principles.
- Excellent troubleshooting communication and documentation skills.
