Job Description
Job Title: Physician - Gastroenterology
Facility Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of gastrointestinal conditions with a focus on high-quality patient-centered care.
- Perform advanced ERCP procedures using leading edge endoscopy equipment.
- Collaborate closely with a team of five gastroenterologists and additional medical staff for coordinated patient care.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation including weekend coverage ensuring continuous patient support.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for seamless documentation and communication.
- Contribute to managing a diverse caseload in a fast-paced gastroenterology group.
- Engage in innovative evidence-based practices to achieve the best patient outcomes.
- Access ongoing professional development through CME opportunities in a physician-led environment.

- UCHealth clears names system-wide.
- Able to support visa candidates for this position.
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
- Active Colorado License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- Experience with ERCP Procedures - high preference (please specify years of experience).
- Current COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED
- Visa Support: J1 or H1B candidates are eligible for sponsorship - REQUIRED
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED (no exemptions).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Colorado Medical License
- Current COVID-19 Vaccination
- DEA Registration (must be obtained before commencement of position)
