Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce high-quality engaging video content for social media platformsincluding filming trimming cutting and arranging footage adding transitions musicsound effects and visual effects color correcting and grading and adding text overlaysand captions.
Edit both long-form and short-form videos ensuring that all content is optimized for eachsocial media platform.
Create compelling and visually appealing thumbnails for each video that effectivelycommunicate the content and encourage viewers to click.
Collaborate with the social media team to create compelling and creative concepts forvideo content.
Work closely with the content team to understand brand guidelines and ensure allcontent meets brand standards.
Utilize apps AI and creative video editing techniques to produce exceptional videocontent with quick turnaround and tight deadlines.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously from start to finish ensuring all projectsare delivered on time.Reporting and Collaboration
Create reports and dashboards summarizing important findings and presentingapplicable insights to relevant teams.
Analyze the channels (youtube Linkedin etc) performance metrics and makedata-driven recommendations to boost our online visibility and drive organictraffic growth.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improvement passingon such information to primary stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest jobs and career trends search engine algorithmupdates and industry news and ensure the team is informed of notable changesto the algorithm as they become apparent.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media video editingand thumbnail creation and provide recommendations for new and innovative ways toengage our audience.
Collaborate with content and social teams to generate video assets and content for A/Btesting
Required Qualifications
2 years of video experience in channels such as YouTube or Linkedin.
Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio of work showcasing your skills inediting long-form and short-form video content for social media platforms.
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro orDaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects.
Strong knowledge of video production and post-production workflows including colorgrading sound design and visual effects.
Proven experience in thumbnail creation with knowledge of graphic design software suchas Adobe Photoshop or Canva for creating thumbnails.
Strong creative and technical skills in storytelling composition and pacing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment manage multiple projects simultaneously andmeet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team membersand content creators.
Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for optimizing video contentand thumbnails (where applicable) for each platform.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of YouTube and LinkedIn algorithms audience retentionstrategies and video SEO best practices.
Experience with motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects or similartools.
Knowledge of AI-powered video editing tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
Experience managing a team of video editors or freelancers to scale production.
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies for video thumbnails and content performanceoptimization.
Background in journalism digital marketing or media production is a plus.
Experience with 3-D Modeling and Rendering Animation
Experience with live streaming or producing webinar-style content is a plus.
