About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars trucks buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced full electric vehicles series which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer you will do research analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration working closely together with product design and engineering teams.
Your main responsibility is:
- responsibility for defining ENCAP active safety test Plans and strategies
- up on the pre-test and formal test of ENCAP active safety for a BYD vehicle
- the vehicle and support test engineers during test execution;
- solutions and report/solve problems during the test execution;
- the failure testing scenarios and do the continued research
- on Europes new automotive technologies;
- on European special regulations or requirements;
Your personal information:
- degree or above. Major in Automotive Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electrical and Electronic Engineering Assisted and/or Automated Driving relative.
- have broad experience of Assisted and/or Automated Driving Systems;
- have good knowledge of ENCAP state-of-the-art test methods and techniques;
- can work yourself and solve the problems yourself abroad;
- have broad experience using VDS or CANoe;
- have the ability to summarize the problems and explain them to other engineers;
- have the ability to write a report to explain the reasons for failure and explore how to improve the state
