About Submer and the role

At Submer we are redefining how data centers are built integrated and operated with sustainability efficiency and innovation at the core. We are now looking for a
Strategic Solutions Partner to join our team and take a leading role in driving large
scale transformative projects across Europe.

This is not a traditional sales role. We are seeking a professional with a consultative
mindset someone who listens deeply understands the broader customer
context and guides them toward optimal strategies for building and operating high
performance data centers at scale. Whether its optimizing existing infrastructure
validating ambitious plans or co-designing greenfield deployments (such as those
fueled by the EUs AI gigafactory initiatives) you will be at the heart of shaping
tomorrows data infrastructure.

As a Strategic Solutions Partner at Submer you will be instrumental in transforming
how Europe builds and powers its digital future. Youll not only help customers
achieve their technical goals youll shape their strategic vision and turn innovation
into tangible results. Your impact will be measured in the success of sustainable AI
factories the efficiency of next-generation data centers and the long-term
relationships you build.


What youll do

Act as a trusted advisor
Engage deeply with enterprise customers and public/private organizations to
understand their strategic needs challenges and ambitions.
Translate complex requirements into tailored solution roadmaps that may
include design validation full-stack integration or infrastructure
optimization.

Lead strategic engagements
Partner closely with the Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) and cross-functional
teams (Design & Build R&D Marketing AI Cloud Customer Support) to co
develop proposals that deliver business valuenot just technology.
Drive meaningful conversations with C-level stakeholders positioning
Submer as a long-term innovation partner.

Expand Submers market presence
Lead strategic sales initiatives in Germany Austria and the Netherlands
with a focus on large-scale projects.
Identify cultivate and close opportunities that align with Submers value
proposition around sustainable scalable infrastructure.
Monitor industry trends funding programs (e.g. EU-backed AI and digital
transformation initiatives) and regulatory developments to stay ahead of
market shifts.

Foster long-term partnerships
Build and nurture enduring relationships with key customers strategic
partners and ecosystem players.
Support our customers beyond the sale ensuring long-term success and
identifying opportunities for continued collaboration.

What you bring

Bachelors degree in Business Engineering IT or related field (MBA or
postgrad preferred).
Proven track record in consultative strategic sales within the data center
cloud or IT infrastructure industries.
Deep understanding of data center ecosystems including design
integration sustainability and performance optimization.
Experience working on large-scale high-impact projects (e.g. regional
deployments hyperscale data centers government-funded initiatives).
Strong business acumen and ability to influence C-level decision makers.
Analytical and systems-thinking mindset with an ability to uncover
opportunities through dialogue and data.
Excellent communication relationship-building and stakeholder
management skills.
Native German speaker with fluent English.
