Job Description
Travel RN- Progressive Care Unit (Night Shift)
Location: Concord NH 03301
Duration: 18-weeks Contract
Shift: 12-hr Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2088 - $2232; (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Progressive Care Unit (step-down setting)
- Monitor and assess patient condition including vital signs EKG readings and response to medications
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians respiratory therapists and case managers
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions quickly and appropriately
- Document all care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Perform patient and family education on disease processes medications and post-discharge care
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical moments
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety protocols
- Participate in handoffs shift reports and care planning
- Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
- Previous travel nursing experience (documented)
- Active RN License: New Hampshire or Compact State
- Certifications Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-AHA or equivalent
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-AHA or equivalent
- EMR Exp Preferred: Cerner-experience is preferred not required
