Summary:
Act as the quality SME for composite and metallic fabrication assembly and integration.
Support shop floor teams daily resolving quality issues and driving real-time solutions.
Lead NCR dispositioning RCCA investigations and CAPA/CAB initiatives.
Conduct FAIs (AS9102) and verify compliance with requirements.
Review and approve MWIs inspection plans tooling documentation and drawings.
Apply expert-level GD&T for manufacturability tolerance analysis and design validation.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure production readiness and manufacturability.
Foster a proactive prevention-focused quality culture.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Mechanical Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
10 years aerospace quality engineering experience including spacecraft or aircraft assembly.
SME in composites and metallic manufacturing.
Proven expertise in FAIs MWIs drawing reviews GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and NCR/MRB.
Strong leadership in RCCA CAPA and quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Spacecraft or launch vehicle integration experience.
Lean Six Sigma certification.
Experience with CMMs and metrology systems.
Active or recent security clearance.
