Registered Nurse NICU (Level IV)
Location: Swedish First Hill Seattle WA
Schedule: Full-Time 36 hours per week 12-hour Night Shifts
Sign-On Bonus: $10000 (for eligible rehires and external hires who meet all conditions)

Role Summary

As an RN in our Level IV NICU you will provide expert compassionate care to the most vulnerable newborns and their families. Youll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe high-quality care while advocating for patients dignity rights and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care: Assess diagnose plan implement and evaluate patient care. Develop and coordinate individualized care plans to optimize outcomes and ensure smooth care transitions.

  • Advocacy: Champion holistic ethical care supporting autonomy and family-centered decision-making.

  • Education & Learning: Foster a supportive learning environment for patients families peers and students through both formal and informal teaching opportunities.

  • Safety & Quality: Identify risks implement evidence-based best practices and uphold the highest standards of patient and caregiver safety.

  • Professional Growth: Engage in continuous learning evidence-based practice and professional development while practicing to the top of your license.

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as a role model and care team leader fostering collaboration across the inter-professional team.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program

  • Current Washington State RN License (upon hire)

  • BLS American Heart Association (upon hire)

  • NRP American Academy of Pediatrics (upon hire)

  • Minimum 1 year NICU nursing experience
