Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a new graduate or experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its practice at Golisano Childrens Hospital in Ft Myers Florida.
Job Description:
- State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed Level-III NICU
- The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year
- Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service
- Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU
- All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage
- In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage
- Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home
- Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs

- Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP PNP or any other NP certifications)
- Not accepting new graduate candidates - 2 years experience as NNP required
- Not accepting Locums candidates
- NNPs do 12 hour shifts there is an option for 24 hours based on experience level
- NNPs work 156 hours a month (1872 a year)
- Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates
- This is a permanent position and we are not seeking a commuter or someone who wants block schedules
- This is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
