Job Description
8 years of relevant experience in Java/JEE technology for enterprise application
Strong in Java and Java EE platforms including Spring framework Angular & Hibernate
Experience in Microservice based Architecture and API design.
Strong knowledge in SQL/MySQL/ Oracle/ PostgreSQL Preferred Oracle
Converse with configuration and code quality tools like SonarQube
Conversant with tools such as JUnit SonarQube JIRA GIT BitBucket.
Strong proficiency in Java and experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot Micronaut Quarkus
Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with Python libraries for security testing such as Requests PyJWT.
In-depth understanding of RESTful APIs GraphQL and API design principles.
Familiarity with API security standards including OAuth 2.0 JWT and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Expertise in designing and building microservices-based architectures.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience in identifying and mitigating API vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP API Security Top 10).
Familiarity with tools for API testing and security such as Postman Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP.
Experience with API gateways such as Apigee Kong or AWS API Gateway.
Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills
Certifications in Java (E.g. Oracle Certified Professional)
Certifications in Python or API security are a plus.
