Summary of the Position: Hourly Full-Time position serving youth and families throughout Delawareare available.
- Applicant must be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community school and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participant and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
- This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources
- Experience working with at-risk youth
- Proficient computer skills; experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage is required. (must be able to provide an auto insurance declaration document)
- Travel will be part of the position (Travel within local county and community to homes and school)
- Bi-Lingual(Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
- Flexible hours; non-traditional hours; may require some evenings and weekends.
