Enforcement Investigation Support Associate

Division Enforcement

Department Supervision and Compliance Monitoring (SCM)

Salary 34700 to 43000 (salary offered will be based on skills and

experience)

The Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) is expanding its oversight across

increasingly complex areas of work. Through supervision monitoring and

enforcement we help ensure public and business confidence in everyday

payment systems. The Supervision and Compliance Monitoring (SCM) Division

established in June 2023 leads this work by engaging with regulated firms to

understand their decision-making and risk management assessing compliance

with PSR requirements and investigating potential breaches where necessary

You will be part of the Enforcement team within the SCM division responsible for

managing the administration of investigation casework and supporting

regulatory enforcement activities. The role may include assisting with

investigative tasks such as interviews depending on your experience and

development needs under appropriate supervision.

What will you be doing

Document management including uploading materials ensuring

compliance with protocols and maintaining accurate records

Evidence handling through reviewing categorising and preparing bundles

for interviews disclosure and proceedings

Drafting and proofreading documents such as correspondence reports

memoranda and meeting minutes

Administrative support for investigations including general tasks and

maintaining project documentation

Conducting research and intelligence checks including company house

searches and background investigations

Coordinating with team members to communicate task progress and

support collaborative workflows

delivery of high-profile regulatory cases that carry public significance

Contribute to investigative tasks such as interviews and evidence

gathering depending on your experience and development needs under

the supervision of experienced professionals

Collaborate with skilled investigators and legal experts in multidisciplinary

teams gaining valuable training and experience to support your

progression toward an investigator role

Minimum

Experience managing documents information and evidence

Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders

Experience supporting regulatory investigations and enforcement teams

Essential

Experience in using eDiscovery tools and case/record management

systems to organise and access information efficiently

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word with

strong digital literacy

Able to manage multiple projects with attention to detail while maintaining

focus on overarching objectives

Collaborative team member who works inclusively with colleagues from

diverse backgrounds and perspectives

Skilled in classifying and organising complex information clearly and

accurately

Self-motivated and capable of prioritising tasks working under pressure

and meeting tight deadlines with precision

Adaptable and open to learning feedback and change with a commitment

to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
