Job Description
Locum Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician
Join a progressive healthcare facility in Fort Collins Colorado that is dedicated to providing comprehensive care through its rehabilitation unit located within a community hospital. This facility is equipped with 300 total beds including a trauma level 3 unit making it an ideal workplace for healthcare professionals looking to expand their expertise in a supportive environment. We are seeking a Locum Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to provide PRN coverage with the possibility of starting as early as November 21.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient PM&R services with a focus on adult patients.
- Manage a daily caseload averaging 14 patients including those with complex medical needs.
- Collaborate with a team of 7 PM&R physicians for enhanced patient care.
- Conduct evaluations treatment plans and oversee rehabilitation for various conditions.
- Participate in occasional weekend call duties as required.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) - REQUIRED
- Active Colorado license or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
- Experience in sports/ortho and CNS rehab is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold valid board certification in PM&R.
- Current and active medical license in Colorado or IMLC.
