Job Description: Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician
Join our dedicated team at a leading hospital in Grand Rapids Michigan as we seek a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for locum coverage. This facility is well-equipped featuring a NICU Level III nursery onsite lab and ultrasound services and utilizes the EPIC documentation system. Your expertise will be crucial in providing essential care during call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM. The hospital serves a vibrant community and prioritizes access to care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide on-call coverage for Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Perform specialized procedures including fetal echocardiograms and advanced ultrasounds.
- Manage complex cases such as pre-eclampsia multiple pregnancies and growth restrictions.
- Respond to pre-term labor and hypertension cases.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) - Required
- Completed MFM fellowship - Required
- Active Michigan License or IMLC - Required
- Current BLS certification - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Michigan Medical License - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine - Required
