Job Description
Dental Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments taking x-rays and providing suction
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of dental supplies
- Providing support to the front office team as needed
Qualifications:
- B1/B2 German skills
- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program - if not yet accredited we can help in this process
- Current CPR certification
- X-ray certification (if required by state)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Prior experience in a dental office is preferred but not required
