Job Summary
Are you a dynamic nursing leader looking for the next step in your career We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services to lead our fast-paced Emergency Department in Las Cruces New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact by driving quality initiatives improving patient outcomes and mentoring a high-performing clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Emergency Department
- Build develop and inspire a high-performing clinical team focused on quality and patient safety
- Oversee departmental operations ensuring compliance with hospital policies standards and regulations
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and hospital leadership to improve workflows and patient outcomes
- Partner with pre-hospital providers and community stakeholders to strengthen emergency care services
Qualifications Required:
- Current (or eligible) New Mexico RN license
- 7 years of healthcare experience including 3 years in a leadership role
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree (MSN MBA or Healthcare Administration) strongly preferred
- Proven experience in a for-profit hospital setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in building and leading teams with a focus on quality initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience fostering strong relationships with pre-hospital providers and EMS partners
