Job Description
Are you an experienced Mammography Technologist looking to advance your career in a supportive and patient-focused environment We are seeking a Senior Mammography Tech to join our growing radiology team in The Woodlands TX. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while working with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography exams in accordance with physician orders and radiology protocols
- Ensure patient comfort safety and confidentiality throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procedures
- Assist with scheduling and patient flow to optimize department efficiency
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and assist in preparing for Joint Commission audits
- Mentor and support junior technologists when needed
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited school of Mammography Technology
- Current Texas Medical Board license (MRT) or temporary license (required)
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) required
- Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M) required
Qualifications Preferred
- Experience with scheduling and workflow coordination
- Background in quality review processes and Joint Commission audit preparation
