Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our leadership team in Roxboro North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and driven nursing professional to oversee clinical operations lead a team of skilled nurses and ensure exceptional patient care in our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing department ensuring compliance with state federal and facility regulations.
- Oversee patient care delivery quality assurance and clinical performance.
- Develop mentor and evaluate nursing staff to maintain a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with physicians administrators and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor departmental budgets staffing levels and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN License or Compact State RN License (required).
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
- 3 years of professional nursing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and high-stress healthcare environment.
